Open your eyes

Open your eyes,
to the crazy, spinning world all around.
Open your arms,
it will rush to your chest.
Open your heart,
to let in the warmth, you must let in the cold.
Open your eyes, open them wide.

Blurry, scary world around us,
dancing, falling, spinning, stopping.
Throw us off, make us jump,
call us back, hold us closer.
Open your eyes, open them wide,
open your heart, you have nothing to hide.

Lock and key, try them, trust them,
no need for a key with an open heart.
No need for fear with wide-open arms.
A blow to the chest cannot pierce a heart. 
No need for fear, it has willingly opened.

Open your eyes, open them wide.
Embrace your life, fear not your strength.
Open your eyes, open your heart.
